Moving on from the monochrome look, it seems that the "all-white" look is the new style for this spring!
It is told that the meaning of WHITE is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion.
So, I decided to start off small with my nails, and I can say it honestly complimented and completed the whole look. It adds a touch of sharpness that certain outfits need, whether you're wearing pastels, ice-cream shades, floral or even geometric shapes and patterns.
The white varnish I used was ESSIE: BLANC
As much as I love the white on my nails, I'm not a complete fan of Essie as I had to do 3 coats to get a full coverage. The drying time is a bit too long for me, even when I added a top coat that has a quick drying time. In addition, I am not a fan of the brush as I find it leaves the nails streaky, and the formulation of the varnish is a bit too watery for my liking.
Essie varnishes can be bought from Boots for £7.99, so check it out [here]
All in all, I would describe the shade as a 'pure brilliant white', there's no hidden undertones or anything. It's a shame my first time with a Essie varnish didn't go down to well, because they seem to have a beautiful colour selection! Anyways, what do you guys think of Essie, and the all-white trend?
